"Shape Songs: A young person’s guide to totally abstract too-serious music" is a multidisciplinary project organized by the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble (HKNME) and curated by artist Samson Young. This initiative commissioned 20 new duets, challenging young students and their teachers to compose, create, and perform music using unconventional, pictorial scores. Celebrating diverse musical approaches, our design was commissioned to develop the promotional key visuals and the final international publication set. To capture the creative and playful spirit of the project, we utilized vibrant color palettes and abstract geometric forms throughout the visual identity and publication design.
